Survival / Extinction is a commentary on the two ways in which the scene could have gone due to the lockdown restrictions caused by Covid-19. Thanks to the resilience and determination from everyone involved in Drum & Bass as a whole, we have not only Survived lockdown, we have conquered it. We are united in being hungrier and more ready than ever before to get back into the swing of attending, playing or working at events.

After years of Soundcloud releases under an array of aliases and genres, and amassing a cult following of some sort along the way... This is the long-awaited debut EP from one of the underground scenes most sought after producers. The one & only FLEEKEE.

“I was introduced to Samir though a friend at a Soul In Motion Sunday Session in early 2020, about a month or so before the country went into lock-down. Since then, he’s got involved with Motive Hunter though being the first DJ on the ‘DRUMHUNTER’ mix series and being the closest thing someone could be to a ‘Promoter’ for the brand. He’s someone that has believed in the movement from the moment he learnt of its existence, which is something I respect and am incredibly grateful for. He’s Motive Hunter family, through and through”.
